Ramblin Jackson’s Really Remarkable Report: Man Gets Caught Outsourcing Job to China While Making 6 figure salary
Have you ever wished that you got paid to surf the internet while someone else did the work you were supposed to do? A man fictitiously known as “Bob” was recently fired from Verizon for apparently just that.
“Bob”, a code developer making several hundreds of thousands of dollars per year working at Verizon was doing work that was well above par. Quarter after quarter, he was applauded for being the best developer in the building… only he wasn’t actually doing any work at all.
After Verizon’s security team investigated data that showed its virtual private network was being accessed from China, they looked a bit deeper and discovered that Bob was outsourcing all of his work to a Chinese consulting firm that he only paid about fifty grand a year.
What do you think should happen to Bob? Would you do this if you could? What if your employees did this? Let us know!
PRO TIP: Clean up those Bounced Email Addresses in your Email Marketing!
Each time you send out an e-newsletter, make sure you check your bounces. People change jobs, die, and otherwise change their email addresses – so you’ll want to regularly remove any remaining non-existent addresses. This will help insure that your email server does not get block-listed for sending to too many bad addresses.

Nice work ! You become mobile too !!!
Great video as usual. Not into curling…don’t get it…but hey I love that people love that 73 minutes they are given to do their thing.
Crazy idea: I’m doing the local Penguin Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics as well AND I’m a past (and continually happy) client of Ramblin’ Jaskson – can we make that work somehow and have me be a virtual team member since you need people? You guys are creative, give it a thought and let me know…
Great job you guys!!!
Dru, I like that idea. Would you help us fundraise through your Social Media, Email, and other contacts?
I did that plunge last August. It was epic! Jack what software do you use to edit your iphone video files?
Jeffrey, we use Final Cut Pro to edit everything.
Will you join our team to plunge this year?
